Microsoft new logo:
Some people love the Microsoft new logo. Some people hate it. However, most agree it looks like a mashup of Google and Apple's design elements.
The icon next to the name looks just the Google design portfolio. Then shown to be more accurate after the jump, the Segoe font looks very similar to Myriad Pro from Adobe, best known used across Apple products. It's hard to argue that Microsoft is looking to not to the other makes for at least a little inspiration.
Brands always before play at rebranding. We did. Amit explained how Vit in a TCTV interview with our Colleen Taylor yesterday, the logo is just "meh". It's not offensive in any way, but not, not that inspiring. It recalls earlier Microsoft product logos, as those will be made for Windows Phone or Microsoft shops, but also looks very similar to Apple than from the table below, by Andrew Watson, a self-confessed Google and Apple fanboi.
